- Following is a recipe for corn fritters from the Better Homes and
- Garden cookbook. They are great dipped in maple syrup.

- Corn Fritters

- 8 3/4 oz can whole kernel corn milk
- 1 1/2 cp sifted all purpose flour 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 beaten egg

- Drain canned corn reserving liuid. Add enough milk to measure 1 cup.
- Sift together dry ingredients. Combine egg milk mixture, and corn.
- Add to dry ingredients, mix until just moistened. Drop batter from
- tablespoons into deep hot fat (375 degrees). Fry until golden brown,
- 3 to 4 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Makes 2 dozen.
